Obituary
Ed was born on June 29, 1935, in West Seattle to Edward and Cleone (Jungquist) Anderson. He met his wife, Adele Larson, while attending West Seattle High School. They would have been married 70 years on July 2, 2025. What we may remember most about Ed was his love for Adele.
Ed was an accomplished long haul truck driver, spending many years working for Darigold, Maust, and Trident Seafoods. During his working life, he also served as a volunteer firefighter. Ed enjoyed working around the house. Whether it be on a new project or performing routine maintenance, Ed had an extreme knack for knowing what to do. Ed also loved traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, and square dancing. Ed was extremely generous, a friend to all. He loved conversation and had time for everyone. Some of his happiest times were visiting with family and friends while enjoying a delicious home cooked meal followed by a tasty dessert.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, son Dale Anderson, sister Eleanor Nessly, brother-in-law Earl Larson, and daughter-in-law Lisa Anderson.
Ed is survived by his wife Adele, daughter Cheryl Victor (Kent), son Dave Anderson, daughter-in-law Sheila Anderson, grandsons Devon Anderson (Stephanie) and Andy Anderson (Linda), granddaughters Brynn Beatty (Ryan), Kendra Hogue (Darren), Samantha Lamp (Steven), and Krisandra Foreman (Brian), sister Carolyn Larson, brother-in-law Bob Nessly, eight great grandchildren, four nephews and two nieces.
Special thanks to PeaceHealth St. Joseph. We have great appreciation for the care and compassion given to a very special man!
