Obituary
Doreen Hansen has gone to be with her Lord.
Mom loved traveling with her husband Sig (married 12-27/1949 in Bellingham) and went to many countries sharing their faith in God.
She loved reading and the latest knitting project was usually in her hands if a book wasn’t.
She loved her children, Connie Marie Hansen Twining,(David) Jack Richard Hansen (Diane),Michael David Hansen (Deb)&Timothy James Hansen(Tracy-estranged) Three grand children,Michelle Marie Metzer Brown, Elizabeth Diane Hansen Dorn & James Richard Hansen. Five great grandchildren,Kenneth Charles Carvalho Jr.,Edie Ilamarie Brown,Jesse Ray Brown, Payton Diane Dorn, Harrison Austin Dorn and her heart great grandchild Nicolas Boone Twining. Also great great granddaughter Lexi Carvalho and her dear niece Bobbi Kae Gainer Rybka (Joe).
Doreen emigrated from Vancouver BC, where she was born, with her parents Earl and Illa Hartman during the Great Depression. She spent most of her life in Bellingham and Ferndale.
Her thoughtful, prayerful support and answers to our questions about life will always be remembered.
Private family services will be held.

Doreen helped us with our taxes for many years. She was such a kind and thoughtful person. I always appreciated her thorough knowledge of the tax law. Most of all I appreciated her warm caring nature.

Doreen was my ex-mother-in-law and had a profound influence in my life and will be greatly missed. I know in my heart that she’s gone to be with Sig in heaven.

Doreen was a very kind and wonderful lady..i have many fond memories with her and will miss her..its unfortunate i hadnt seen her for a while…im thankful for all the time i was able to spend with her..she will be missed…rip Doreen.
