January 04, 1945 - December 26, 2018

Bob was born on January 4, 1945 in Texarcana, Arkansas to Clyde and Edith Larrabee. He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1962. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1973, Bob received his BS from WWU and went on to continue his education at California School of Podiatric Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Podiatry in 1981.

A lover of the outdoors, Bob spent his summers with family camping and fishing, with many fond memories made at Caples Lake Resort and Glacier National Park. He also enjoyed .22 caliber match shooting, going to air shows, and spending time with his dogs, goats, and donkeys. Bob had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing people. His keen knowledge, wit, ambition, and his compassion for animals will be missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia (John) Whitlock; step-sons, Jeff (Kandi) Brinson-Larrabee, Kevin Brinson, and Don (Jen) Brinson; seven grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his mother, Edith; and grandmother, Ruth E. Terry.

  1. Patricia says:

Dad,I will miss you immensely! I will miss your sense of humor and how we used to laugh together. I’m sorry that things had to end like this and wish I could have one last kiss and hug. I’m sorry you had to go through that all alone. One thing thing for sure that will remain in my heart is the love we shared for Glacier National Park. I know how you talked about wanting to go there again don’t worry dad I promise I will make that happen. I love you with all of my heart.

  2. So sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. He was a great person and a wonderful neighbor.
