Donald Ames, age 74, passed away March 2, 2015.
He has born in Bellingham on November 9, 1940.
Donald is survived by his daughters Lisa Ames and Wanda Silver; granddaughters Amanda Burrow and Heather Silver. He was preceded in death by his mother Lilly Young; father Frank Ames; step-father Mayo Young.
A service will be held at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale on March 11, 2015 at 11:00am.

Lisa and Wanda I am sorry to see the passing of your Dad. He and I became a couple during my senior year of high school and remained friends for years. I became like a member of the family and knew Frank even before I met your Dad. I loved your Grandma Lilly we were good friends until her death and Mayo was such a great guy. My sympathy goes out to you girls and your family. May your Dad find peace and rest now that his illness is no more
