Donald Kenneth Dews

Don was born in Bellingham, WA to Clyde Dews & Elma (Hunziker) Dews. Don passed away in Burlington, WA with his loving family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jean L. (Larson) Dews & brother, Floyd Dews.

He is survived by his sister, Ethel (Dews) Nelson; daughters, Cristi Dews, Sharon Cody (fiance’) Lonnie Williams, Darla and (grand)son David Henry, Tasha and (husband) Ken Zahlis. Don served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean conflict.

He established his own company, Dews Electric, in Burlington WA where he enjoyed many years of working with local residents and businesses. Don loved fishing, boating and golf in addition to spending time with his family and friends.

Farewell Tribute Information

A potluck to celebrate Don’s life will be held at Hillcrest Park in Mount Vernon, WA on Friday, 9/28/12 beginning at 1:00 p.m. All who knew him are welcome. Donations Information
