  1. Aug. 28,1966 , a day made so very special in part because of Rev. Walters. That was the day he married us. And we have thanked him every year since.May the good Lord take this very special man into his kingdom with open arms.

  2. To Ann, Brendan, Jonathon, Tim and the entire Walter Family….. We are so sorry for your loss and hope you find the comfort that your husband, father and grandfather helped to bring to so many. Our families have been connected not for many years, but for decades, and there is a peace that I find, in that the Patriarch’s of both have passed together, within hours. Your husband/father was a great friend to my grandfather. I see them walking the path together, sharing yet another conversation as they approach their eternal home. I have many wonderful memories of our time at the United Church, being confirmed by your dad, attending summer bible camps out at Samish, playing in the empty lots next to the church. Thank you all. God Bless and guide your family and keep you in His Grace.

Don You have been a major part of my life. You have been an outstanding roll model for me and really had a big part in shaping me and helping me be the person I’m today with out you and your family I’m really not sure how much I would have gotten through the losses of my own family Members. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I know that you are in a better place now and that you are with the Lord. I know he will take great care of you as he did down here. You are greatly missed. Ann I love you so much and I’m so sorry for the loss. I know you are strong and I know you have a wonderful family that will take care of you as well. to All of the Walter family you all are amazing and I’m so sorry for this loss. I’m sure it is deeply felt on so many levels know that my thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you.

  5. I am so sorry to hear about Don. He was a great man. I have known him ever since he came to Blaine. I even babysat his sons. We used to go to his house or he would come to ours for an evening of music. Mom and Dad always enjoyed the times we had together.
He officiated at both of my weddings, and the funerals for my Mom and Dad. When my Dad died he was on vacation, but he came back home and he was there for us. Dave, Dan and I will always be grateful for that.
Blaine has lost a wonderful person. So many of us have wonderful memories of him, and they will always be in our heart.
    Love, Wilda
