Obituary
Dolores Jean Adams, age 90, passed away on July 13, 2021.
Jean was born on November 13, 1930, to Ray and Gertrude Hart in Bryan, TX. She attended Lee College in Texas and became a Licensed Nurse Practitioner, eventually working at St. Joes in the Surgical OR.
She met her husband, Ross Allen Adams, and they were married on August 22, 1951, in Houston, TX. Together they had three children. Jean meant so much to so many and she fiercely loved her family. In addition to spending time with family, she loved traveling, baking, gardening, and canning, and lived by her motto, “Persevere, Jean, persevere.”
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Ross Adams; daughter Beverly Kay Serafini; daughter-in-law Ramona Marie Adams; and granddaughter Jennifer Jo Fischer.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Wayne Adams and Ross Lee Adams; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces.
Jean’s ashes will be placed at Maple Falls Cemetery on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2:00 P.M.
DIRECTIONS TO MAPLE FALLS CEMETERY:
To reach the cemetery from I-5, take the Sunset Drive Exit
(Exit 255, St. Hwy 542 East and Mt. Baker also appear on highway signage).
Proceed east on Sunset Drive East/Hwy 542 East 25.9 miles
(Sunset Drive East becomes Mt. Baker Hwy after about 2 miles) to Maple Falls.
Turn right (south) on Silver Lake Road.
Continue south on the paved road (Silver Lake Rd) .4 of a mile to the
cemetery entrance on the right (west) side of the road.
