Obituary

Denae Valentine Cladoosby passed away on May 18, 2021 in Seattle. Denae was born in Bellingham on February 14, 1981 to Marian and Dale James.

Denae received her high school diploma from the Alger Learning Center. Her jobs included being an Accountant and Fisherwoman. She loved fishing and crabbing and being on the boat. Halibut was her favorite to fish.

Denae married Jasper Cladoosby on September 15, 2001.

Denae was full of love for everything and everyone. She had a wonderful smile and a kind heart. Denae loved to talk and knew so many people.

Her hobbies included hiking trails, waking on the beach, looking for agates, listening to music, traveling to Indiana, crocheting, and drawing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband Jasper Cladoosby; daughters Sally, Correen, Delanae and Jazzmon Cladoosby; son Rodney Julius III; mother Marian Denise James; sisters Daphne Howard, Jonnee James Denise James, Sunsearae Lane and Sharayah Lane; 3 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of   friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Dale James; son August Day Cladoosby; brother Jamie James; grandparents Leonard and Marian Jefferson and Joe and Velma James.

A prayer service will be Tuesday, May 25, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 26, at 10:00am. Both services will be at the Wexliem Community Building. Burial in Lummi Nation Cemetery to follow funeral service. Please visit the online guestbook at www.molesfarewelltributes.com.
