Obituary

Delbert Curtright, 75, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2023. He was born in Bellingham on March 1^st, 1948 to Frank and Leta.

Delbert graduated from Bellingham High School before Serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. After his time serving in the Army, Delbert went to work at Intalco where he eventually would retire from after spending his career working on the pot lines.

Delbert loved fishing. Some of his favorite fishing spots included Toad Lake, Silver Lake, and Roache Lake in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. From attending the Bellingham Mariners games to watching college football on Saturdays and the Seahawks on Sundays, Delbert also enjoyed catching a game in person or on TV. Whether it was a local trip around the Pacific Northwest like La Conner, Leavenworth, the Olympic National Forest, or the San Juan Islands or a little further like a trip to California and Disneyland, Delbert was always excited to share pictures and a story from one of his recent trips.

More recently, Delbert would be found at his home enjoying a cup of coffee in his backyard and feeding treats to his dog, Max.

Delbert is survived by his son, Brad; daughter-in-law, Rachel; sister, Cindy; brothers Steve, Loren, and Glenn; grandkids, Marissa, Logan, Ava, and Dawson.

A graveside service will take place at Moles Greenacres located at 5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, WA 98248 on September 14th at 10:00 AM.
