Obituary

Darrian Joshua James, age 23, of Bellingham, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2021.

Darrian graduated from Ferndale High School and attended trade school for carpentry. He was a fisherman who also loved crabbing and shrimping. He loved working with his dad. He loved being a mechanic.

Darrian was very resilient, always up for an adventure, smart, handsome, funny, a great brother and uncle. He was always taking care of his sisters, nieces, and nephews. Always checking on them. He would talk for hours with his sisters. He loved hunting with his Uncles and talking to his Aunties.

Darrian is survived by his dad, Jasper Cladoosby, dad, Michael Alexander, sisters Sally Cladoosby, Correen Cladoosby, Delanae Cladoosby, Briana Kernak and Katrina Kernak; brothers Jace Alexander and Rodney Julius Jr; grandparents Marian Denise James, Francis Alexander, and Regina Tom; 4 nephews and 3 nieces.

Preceded in death by brother August Day Cladoosby; uncle Jamie James; grandparents Dale James, Alice Jefferson, Franklin and Roberta Cladoosby; great grandparents Florence Henry, Morrie Alexander, Leonard and Marian Jefferson and Joe and Velma James.

A prayer service will be Tuesday, May 25, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 26, at 10:00am. Both services will be at the Wexliem Community Building. Burial will follow funeral service in Lummi Nation Cemetery. You may visit the online guestbook at www.molesfarewelltributes.com.
