Obituary
Daniel A Ingram was born on May 27, 1940 in Glendale California. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 15, 2023 after a hard-fought battle. He passed peacefully at the end of a day full of loved ones.
Growing up, Dan moved around a lot, and lived with many different people. He felt that experience shaped him, and always knew he wanted to create a family and a place to call home. He joined the Army and served his country in the 101st Airborne from 1957-1964.
He married the great love of his life, Janis Ingram, in October, 1967. Shortly after they moved to Bellingham, Washington and started a family. Dan worked in Fire and Safety and as a Safety Inspector at the Ferndale Refinery from 1969-2007. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling with his family. He spent many years volunteering with AWANA, and teaching Sunday School. He loved unconditionally, and was widely known for his kind and giving spirit, and his playful personality.
Dan loved being a Grandpa, and spent much of his time loving on all of his grandkids and making cherished memories. He will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Janis, and his 8 kids: Danny (Amina), Shannon (Lindsey), Brandon, Kurt (Carol), Eric (Bridget), Kevin, Daryn (Tamara), and Lisa Aamot (Kyle), and all 16 grandkids. He is also leaving behind his beloved cousin, Melvin Ingram, and his long time best friend Mick (Roy Callero) and greeted in Heaven by Sandy Callero and numerous loved ones and friends. A celebration of life will be held in May.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse or Hospice.
