Obituary

Cyndy Anna Lane “Tin Bad” “Hot Minute” “Off the Hook”, age 61, of Seattle, passed away on May 30, 2021. She was born on April 11, 1960, in Bellingham to Virgil Sr. and Janet “Ann” Lane. She attended Bellingham High School. Cyndy was a high energy person who had a crazy sense of humor. She was loving, caring, forgiving, nonjudgmental, generous, and clumsy. You would rarely see her without a hat on. She enjoyed joining in the activities in the community that she lived in. Her favorite thing to do was go gambling, she also loved animals, going for a walk, drawing, watching crime shows, the Seahawks, and taking her grandkids to the movies. Most of all Cyndy loved her family.

Cyndy is survived by her brothers Carl Lane (Carol Lane) and Virgil Lane Jr.; auntie Alice “Ally” Lane; children Rema Eileen Willis, Delores Amelia Lane, Anthony Virgil De’Shay Lane, and “Queenie” Ashley Renee Briones longtime partner Roberto (Bobby) Briones; grandchildren Arius “Bigboi Willis”, Aeshia “Maemae” Willis, DeYona Lane “Nona”, Vanessa DeJesus, Alex DeJesus, and Ava Lane and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Johnny Brazil Jefferson Jr; mother Janet “Ann” Lane; father Virgil Lane Sr; siblings Jesse, Brian, Sheri, Carol, Greg Lane and Tanya Marie Smith-Jefferson.

A prayer service will be held Friday, June 4, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 5, at 10:00am. Both services will be at the Wexliem Community Building.
