Curtis Harvey

Curtis L. Harvey, lifelong Whatcom County resident, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, after battling cancer. Curt was born on February 24, 1938, to Lester and Violet Harvey in Bellingham, Washington. He was a graduate of Bellingham High School, working at Boeing, and local fish companies prior to beginning his career at Georgia Pacific. He retired from Georgia Pacific in 2000.

Curt was an avid bowler and golfer. He enjoyed campfires, boating, baling hay, watching sports of all kinds, and finding the best bargains.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Yvonne, and son, Curtis J. He is survived by his wife, Suzie Reynolds; daughters, Cindy Jackson, Carrie Perkins, and Christie (Curt) Arseneau; step children, Tami Frost, Doug (Cara) Stuit, and Tina (Gordon) Harmer; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and six step grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 11, at 3:00 PM, at The Chapel at Moles Ferndale, 2039 Main St., Ferndale.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice, 2901 Squalicum Pkwy., Bellingham, WA 98225
