Obituary

Mr. Christopher Michael Whitbeck

On July 11th, 2012, Christopher Michael Whitbeck, born May 12th, 1984, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, in the ICU of St. Josephs Hospital, due to the extensive injuries his body sustained in a motorcycle collision the previous day.

He is survived by his 5 year old son, Drake, his father, Mark, his step-mother, Judi, his mother, Lorrie, his sister, Rachel and her daughter, MaRay, his older half siblings, Brandon and Diana, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, his girlfriend, Carrie, and many close friends. Chris loved to spend time with his son, go to the batting cages, ride his motorcycle, work on cars, swim at Lake Samish, and be with his family and friends. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed.

His family is holding a Celebration of Life for Chris this Sunday, July 22nd, between 11:30am – 2:30pm. The celebration will be held in the larger building of the lower part of Whatcom Falls Park and it will be a potluck. Please bring a dish and memories to share. If anyone would like to make a donation in Chriss name to help with memorial costs, you can do so at any branch of Chase Bank, under his name.     Chris, I haven’t seen you in 19 years but I think of you and Rachel often! I was extremely saddened by the news of your passing! Your son looks almost just like you! And you look just like your dad in your manhood years lol! I wish we could’ve reconnected before you were gone! I would have loved to have heard your man voice lol! Even though you and Rachel were only in my life a short time, you’ll always remain a fond memory! I hope you’re at peace and watching over your family!! :-(

  2. We all love you so much.. I hope you can see that. I miss your laughter and silly inappropriate jokes. Thank you for all the memories you left us with… We will take care of Drake and he will know all about his daddy and the wonderful love you had for him. We will never forget you. Rest now..
