Obituary

Chris Allen Silvey, age 57, of Maple Falls, passed away on February 14, 2018. Chris was born on May 10, 1960, in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada to Stanley and Laura Silvey. He was a Commercial Fisherman for 40 years, Bridge Builder, and Miner. Chris loved the outdoors, working on cars, biking, swimming, bowling, travelling, going to the casino and 4x4ing. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He had a way of uplifting people around him. He is survived by his wife Barb; mother Laura Silvey; son Nathan Charlie; daughter Melissa Charlie; brothers, Stanley Silvey Jr., and Ross Silvey; and sister Brenda Silvey; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death his father Stanley Silvery and grandmother Matilda Elliott. Funeral services were held in Canada.
