Obituary

Charla Faye Keene (Graham) was born July 14, 1934 in Bellingham, WA.  She passed away peacefully May 9, 2023 at our home in Lynnwood, WA with her Son and Daughter-in-law by her side at age 88.

She was the only child born to Frederick and Florence Graham.  She spent her childhood in Bellingham, WA graduating from Bellingham High School.

She married Eugene John Keene in 1959 and they spent 56 years together.  They moved to Everett, WA where she earned her degree in Nursing from Everett College and worked as a Registered Nurse at Everett General Hospital and Visiting Nurse Association.  She eventually worked as a Surgical Nurse at Everett Eye Surgery Center. Charla and her husband Gene “Coke” ended up purchasing a home on Lake Goodwin, WA and a home in Sun City West AZ, where they loved to be “Snow Birds”.  Charla had a full life of family, friends and love.

Charla has two sons (Eugene Frederick and Michael Graham) and one granddaughter (Alexandra).  She was a daughter, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother and friend.

Charla enjoyed being with family and friends, gardening, snow skiing, golfing, and entertaining at her home on Lake Goodwin, WA and at Sun City West, AZ.

Charla was a kind, caring, loving, supportive and understanding.  She will be missed immensely.

A Celebration of Life is planned for May 20, 2023 at 1:00pm at 606 152^nd Pl. SW Lynnwood, WA 98087.  Please join Charla’s family and friends to share memories and celebrate her life.
