Obituary

Carrie I. Toth of Ferndale, passed away in Bellingham surrounded by family on Friday August 17, 2012. She was 84 years old.

As a young woman, Carrie served with pride in the U.S.M.C. She had a long and satisfying 20 year career as a visiting nurse. Throughout her life her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids brought her joy as she supported them through school sports and FFA. Carrie was a big supporter of Ferndales youth and for over 35 years she was Ferndales Golden Eagles #1, and loudest, fan.

Carrie is survived by her sons Steve (Lori) of Nashville, TN, John (Cindy) of Blaine, Mark (Kathi) of Ferndale, and Tom (Darci) of Anacortes; grandchildren Mark II (Kristina), Billy (Kelsey), Robert Keeley, Tarisa, Andrew, and Amanda; and great grandson Karlton.

Farewell Tribute Information

There will be a memorial service held for Carrie at 1:00 PM on Monday August 27, 2012 in the Chapel at Moles Farewell Tributes Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Dr. Ferndale. It will be followed by a graveside inurnment at 2:30 PM in Greenacres Memorial Park, with a coffee hour in the Chapel afterwards.

My grandma was a very unique and loving and very caring she cared about everyone & expescially her family & she grandchildren & her 1 great grandson & she loved going to Ferndale high school games & she would bring the teams baked goods everyone loved MISS T. ,MISS TOTH ,CARRIE my grandma will be very missed I love u grandma

  4. I struggle to find adequate words to properly convey what a sweet, kind woman Mrs. Toth was. Of course, words really aren’t necessary for with only one encounter with Mrs. Toth a person would feel the warmth of her gentle spirit and know that she was a woman who loved others. She was a loving mother and perhaps the best sports fan that Ferndale School District ever had or will have! She held a place in the hearts of many and will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
