Obituary

Carol Elaine Roberts “Tisqualamot” passed away March 14, 2015.
She was born August 14, 1950 in Bellingham, Washington. She graduated from Mt Baker High School in 1968.
She married George Bailey May 23, 1970 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Lynden, WA.
Carol loved her family softball team, the Thunderbirds, canoe pulling, Sal’hal, garage sale shopping, second hand stores, swap meets, watching HG TV, Jerry Springer, Steve Harvey and going for walks.
Carol loved her family and her community and she will be missed dearly.
She worked as CHR for Nooksack, Administrative Assistant for the Tribal Police, Receptionist for the First Clinic in Nooksack. She also worked for Nooksack Housing and was a Nooksack Preschool teacher for 13 years.
Carol is survived by her husband George Bailey Jr of Deming, WA, daughter Monica (Russell Hilton) Bailey of Everson, WA, son Jeffery Bailey of Everson, WA; grandchildren Eric Bailey, Ryan Hilton, Jace Bailey, and Alicia Bailey; great granddaughter Anastacia Jones Bailey; brothers Kevin Roberts, Loren Roberts, Kerry Roberts; sisters Althea Roberts, Cherri Roberts, Cindy Roberts, Candace Kelly, Lori Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special aunt Doreen Pelkey.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Roy Roberts, brother Robin Roberts, son Virgil Bailey.

The services will be held at the Nooksack Community Building on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 6:00PM and Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:00AM.
