Obituary

Carol Ann George, age 76, of Bellingham, passed away on March 7, 2021. Carol was born on December 22, 1944 in Bellingham to Francis Lawrence Sr. and Norma Jefferson. Even though she was only 4’ 11 ½ inches and would never let you forget the ½ she was a like a stick of Dynamite. Carol was a strong, caring, beautiful, kindhearted person who love to laugh. She was always willing to help raise her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed knitting hats and scarfs and reading. Her favorite authors were John Grisham and James Patterson. She is survived by her son Edward George; brother Mike Jefferson, sister Ruby Jefferson and numerous nieces and nephews and loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard George Jr.;;  son Howard George III; grandparents Joseph V. and Matilda (Peters) Jefferson and Micheal and Ruby Alexander(Brazil) Underwood; great-grandparents Timothy and Sophia (George) Jefferson and Peter Eso-Sos-O-Lie,  Louie Underwood and John Brazil; sister Patricia May LaClair and Vera Jefferson; brothers Francis Jefferson Jr., Norman Jefferson, Dana Jefferson, and John “Judo” Jefferson Sr.; nephews Timothy Jefferson and John  Jefferson Jr. and nieces Norma Jefferson and Janet Jefferson. A family viewing will be held Friday, March 12, at 9:00am to 11:00am  at Moles Ferndale.  A graveside service will follow at noon at Lummi Nation Cemetery.
