  1. Candi was only 7 or 8 years old when we met her. She was as sweet as a child as she was as an adult. Among our fondest family memories are trips to the snow from Goleta to the Frazier Park-Mt. Abel area. We traveled with Candi’s sister Clyda and her family. There were 8 of us in our 2 families, plus we would stop in Ventura to pick up Candi. Somehow we all fit in our big stationwagon. Candi was always a special part of our good time! Our thoughts are with you all in her family. Love from all the Retzloffs.

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love Cathe Hedrick, Santa Barbara

  3. Candi was a great friend, we enjoyed quilting together, talking about flowers and our yards and especially being co-Grandmas to Samantha. I was blessed by her hospitality many times and always enjoyed being included. Our love for the Lord was another bond we shared and I look forward to seeing her again and praising God together! Prayers and love to Mark, Dawn, Michael, Clyda and families. Susan VanDerSys

  4. I always think of Candi smiling and we know she is smiling down on her family from heaven right now! She was such a kind hearted person. I saw her most often when I was a little kid and every time I found out we were visiting Uncle Clyde I’d ask if Candi would be there. She was always so sweet even though I’m sure entertaining kids wasn’t her priority as a teenager! All of Candi’s family is in my thoughts and prayers now. Love, Nikki

  5. Candi was one of the best ladies I have ever known. She had a big heart and always gave of herself, unconditionally and unselfishly. When the Burris family moved from York County, VA there was a void in my heart. She was truly a special friend and I will remember her always. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mark, Dawn, Michael and your families.
