Obituary

Bruce Thomas, 81, of Bellingham, WA, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024. Born and raised in Bellingham, Bruce graduated from Bellingham High School and went on to work as a mechanic before joining the Sanitary Service Company, where he made lifelong connections.

Bruce was a kind and loving father, grandfather, and friend. His heart of gold and willingness to help others whenever he could made him a cherished member of his community. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Atkinson, with whom he shared many happy years of camping, fishing, and hunting with friends.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bob, his son, Kevin Thomas, and five grandchildren who will always remember him with love and gratitude.

Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 12 pm located at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Drive, Ferndale, WA 98248
