Obituary

Our beautiful beloved Mom, Wife, Grandma, Nana and Friend was called home to Heaven and to be with Dad, she was 87.

She passed peacefully of natural causes with 2 of her daughters, Ronna & Pam, by her side; Regina was unable to be there. Her mind was still sharp but her body was tired. Bonnie was born and raised in Memphis, TN and She lived there until 1962. The family moved to Oak Harbor, WA where Dad was stationed in the military. Bonnie was a manager with Tupperware for 10 years. She loved her Tupperware parties. In 1973, the family moved to Ferndale, WA when Bonnie started with Allstate Ins and was the 1st Women agent in Washington. In 1988, Mom & Dad retired and traveled the United States for 9 years, enjoying all the Thousand Trails campgrounds.

They made lots of friends and enjoyed all the activities. Mom and Dad loved the weather in AZ and they settled there in 1997. Mom loved to cook and enjoyed hosting get-togethers, pot lucks and playing card games and Pegs & Jockers. Bonnie was a beautiful, kind, loving, generous, mother and friend. She raised us with the Love of God and respect for what is right. She taught us good ethics, honesty and responsibility. And we are proud to say she was our mother and our friend. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband Mel & son Michael. She is survived by 3 daughters, Ronna Parks (Rick-deceased), Pam Ekman (Larry), Regina Heller (Jerry), 7 grandchildren and 12 gr. grandchildren.

Mom, it broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. Our hearts and our Love went with you, the day God took you home. Mom you taught us everything EXCEPT how to live without you.
