Obituary

Born in Lexington, Kentucky to Elmer and Helen Wise, Billy passed away at his home in Bellingham, WA on April 6, 2021, four days after his 70th birthday.

Billy joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served for five years. He attended Carpentry School and also received his Fire Suppression certification. On August 14, 1971, Billy married the love of his life, Vicki Martin, and together they raised two sons.

Billy loved watching football, camping, going to sprint car races, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed trips to the Oregon Coast, Sturgeon fishing on the Columbia River, an Alaskan Cruise, and riding his Loud Pipes Victory Motorcycle. A man of God, Billy valued sharing Christ’s word of salvation and healing to all he could. He also liked listening to Gospel music. He was a loving, caring, and giving man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Helen; sisters, Ethel McLane and Anna Mae Hardeback; and brother, Howard Wise.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 ½ years, Vicki; sister, Virginia McPhearson; sons, Christopher (Lynn) and Bradley Wise; grandchildren, Kirsten, Kelsey, and Kara; great-grandson, Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 11am – 1pm at Moles Farewell Tributes Greenacres (5700 NW Dr. Ferndale, WA).

  1. Billy: You will forever be missed! Was so happy to see you one more time, couldn’t believe was you, you looked great!! May my Lord God of Abraham Isaac and Yacob bless your beloved wife and family, and that soon He will send His Mesiah to soon see the rebuilding of the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem, and soon see all of our beloved ones who are dearly miss!!
