Obituary

Bellingham, WA

Betty Marlene Butenschoen went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones after her long battle with Parkinson’s. Betty was born on May 13, 1934, and raised in Bellingham, WA. She married the love of her life, Chuck Butenschoen on March 21, 1959. Betty devoted her life to her husband, Chuck, and her children, Matt, Rich, and Susan, and nothing brought Betty greater pleasure than when she became a grandmother. 1. Bev Baller says:

There are so many memories… we were neighbors for 40+ years. Betty was such a soft and kind person. My prayer for your family is for peace and strength in the comfort of His love, and many happy memories to sustain you in the days to come.

  2. My deepest sympathy to Betty’s family and friends. May you find comfort in the promise at Revelation 21:4- “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I am truly sorry for your loss.

  3. Dear Chuck, Matt, and Susan, Betty was one of the sweetest women we’ve ever known. She will be missed terribly. We are praying that you are receiving the comfort and peace that only Jesus can give. We are comforted in the fact that she is with Him and we will see her again one day. With love, Bill and Janice Frank
