  1. Cathy Skaar says:

Betty was a beautiful, kind soul who I was fortunate to call my mother-in-law. She always told me that I wasn’t her daughter-in-law but her daughter. My relationship with my own mother is quite tumultuous and Betty was the mother I never really had. I will miss her laugh, her smile, her sweet nature but most of all, I will miss her beautiful face that always lit up when her family was around. You were an amazing woman and I will miss you dearly mom. I love you so very much.

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with the Skarr and Manion families. Though I hadn’t seen Aunt Betty in many years, she will be remembered always as a very sweet aunt. I have beautiful memories of my youth visiting with my Manion aunts and uncles in Central Illinois at family reunions. Aunt Betty celebrates her life with my dad, mom, Uncle Pete, and her siblings in Heaven. ‘So many are there to welcome her.

  3. We are so very sorry for the loss of your Mother, GrandMother, Sister and Aunt. I remember your Mother fondly. I did not know her well but I do remember she was a very nice lady. Your loss is deep but your Mother at Peace. Our Family will pray for your family as you cope with this loss. God be with you and bless all of you.
