Obituary

Betty Jo Armbruster, age 94, of Lummi Island, Washington, passed away on September 15, 2018. Betty was born in Tillamook, Oregon to Louie and Fay Havens. She had been on her own since the age of 16. Betty married Gerald Armbruster on January 20, 1944 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Betty was an LPN in Colorado retiring in 1978 to Lummi Island. She was fiercely independent, strong willed and a hard worker. Her nature was to take care of other people. Gardening and flowers were her hobby. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her husband and brother.
