Obituary
Betty J. Collier age 84, of Bellingham, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. Betty was born on June 6, 1934 in Fresno, California. Betty married Billy D. Collier on March 25, 1953 in Fresno. She had a passion for quilting and loved to make quilts for her family. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy D. Collier; sister Marjianne Guthrie and brother Frank Dale. Betty is survived by her daughters Terri (Doug) Reed and Dawn (Jeff) Brooks; sons Bill (Dena) Collier and Mike Collier; sisters Ida Childers and Ruby Smith; brother Robert Dale; grandchildren Robert Collier, Kimberly Sorenson, Carrie Reed, Christina Roosma, Joshua Brooks, Kyle Brooks and Jason Collier; and great-grandchildren Erin, Ivan, Hayden, Paige, Mia, Parker, Dykota, Addison and Lexi.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 3, at 12:00pm at Greenacres Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice, 2901 Squalicum Pkwy, Bellingham, WA 98225.
