Obituary
Betty was born to Mildred May Lorenz and Christian Charles “Sam” Finkbonner on July 11, 1947.
Betty was a loving and caring mother to John Greene II “John John” his wife Lynda, Maureen Greene her mate Amanda Langley, and Farah George and her husband Taylor Julius.
She was a loving sister to Christian Charles “Sammy” Finbonner and wife Roberta, Georgia “Dolly” Collier, Ronald “Bones” Finkbonner, Barbara Juarez, Becki Johnson, and husband David.
She was also a grandmother to 6 Bailey Jefferson, Jasmine Miller her mate Moises Rosa Martinez, Makaya Julius, her mate Ethan Solomon, Tyson Finbonner, Donovan Julius, and Addisyn Julius. 3 of those grandchildren she helped raise and lived in the same household. Makaya, Donovan, and Addisyn were her pride and joys. She always spoke about them to anyone who would listen. They were her world and helped keep her mind and spirit strong. Whenever 1 of their parents (Farah or Taylor) would tell them no or they would get in trouble, she would say “Oh come tell grandma about it.” “Let grandma make it better” or “Tell them grandma said so”. She loved seeing them smile and hearing them laugh and play. At times she would just go sit, watch, and admire them, not say a word, just smiling big as they did whatever they were doing. And in her final years, she would tell her nurses at the dialysis center or her CHR drivers how good of a job her daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids take care of her every single day. She was never one to complain. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. And loved unconditionally.
When she wasn’t home with her daughter and her family you could find her at the casino. She loved running into “everyone” there and being able to catch up. She often joked if she wanted to see her siblings she would just go to the casino. She also enjoyed watching “her shows” as she would say.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Milly and Sam Finkbonner, and her sister Celina “Sis”.

To Betty’s Family.
I went to school with Betty all through school beginning at Marietta in first grade. I haven’t run into her in many years., but have found memories of our youth and her strength. I knew all her family thru the ages of Ron.
I want to express my sincere sympathy to you all. I know you will miss her. God Bless you and comfort you.
