Obituary

Betty Alene Byrd was born December 24, 1918 to Robert and Effie Elwood. Betty died April 4, 2015 at the age of 96.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clark Bird, daughter Roberta Jean, parents Robert and Effie, brothers Alvin, Harry, and Russel, and sisters Mildred and LaVera.
Survivors include; her son Larry Byrd, who passed away on the fifth of April, daughter Judy Johansen (John), grandchildren John (Paige) of Puyallup, Debbie and Randy of Ferndale, and two grandsons and one granddaughter in Colorado. She is also survived by three great grandsons and two great great grandsons locally, plus numerous great and great great grandchildren in Colorado.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Bellingham at Orchard and Whatcom Hospice for their loving care of Betty.
Memorial donations may be made to Whatcom Hospice.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 11:00AM at Greenacres Memorial Park.
