Obituary

Bessie Leah Blair, age 84, passed away September 9, 2012, at Mt. Baker Care Center. She was born to William and Martha Ervin in Urbana, Ohio, December 17, 1927. She is survived by her husband of 60 yrs. Gerald T. Blair, son Robert Blair (Misty) B’ham, daughter Julie Blair, B’ham, sisters Arrena Mae Larsen, B’ham, Ella Marine, Ohio, and granddaughters Jessica Blair and Katie Blair, New Zealand. She was preceded in death by brothers Frank Ervin, Harvey Ervin, James Ervin, sisters Bertha Gunning and Margo Caudey. A Bellingham resident of 62 yrs, Bessie enjoyed her roses, reading, music and taking care of her family. A soft spoken woman with serene grace, Bessie will be missed by all who loved and knew her. The family wishes to thank Mt. Baker Care Center, the Hospice staff, and all the people who extended their loving care and prayers to Bessie.
