Obituary

Bernard Charlie was born January 27, 1977, in Bellingham, Washington to Bert Johnnie Jr and Josephine Warbus.

Bernard was a caring and thoughtful person who always put his kids first. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, traveling and fixing up cars. Bernard was never selfish, and he created many memories with loved ones in the mountains hunting, at family birthday parties and events. Bernard will be remembered for his long conversations, his jokes and his stories.

Bernard is survived by his mother Josephine Warbus; father Bert Johnnie Jr.; daughters Alena Rose Bennett, Cholena Bennett, Ariana Charlie; sons Brandon Charlie Washington, Nicholas Sky Charlie, Deven Charlie, Daren Charlie.

Predeceased by his grandparents Isabelle and Floyd Warbus, Florence and Bert Johnnie Sr; son Chester Bennett; sisters Georgianna James, Angela Johnnie; nephew Tyrell Alexander.

Bernard’s smile will be missed by all who knew him.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, September 27, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 28, at 10:00am. Both services will be held at Moles Farewell Tributes, Main Street Ferndale
