Obituary

Austin Kelly Lawrence, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on March 20, 2025.

Austin was born on January 22, 1997. He was known for his smile, energy, and kind-hearted nature. He was outgoing and always busy, and enjoyed basketball, MMA, music and being with his nieces and nephews. He had a special bond with his nephews and nieces—Terrance, Troy, Airin, Jordan, Sadie, and Juliana.

Austin’s family remembers his smile, his caring heart, his laughter and kindness, and even his accident-prone moments. They will never forget his laughter, his kindness, and the way he made everyone feel important and loved. He was funny, caring, and selfless.

He is survived by his father, Julian Lawrence Sr.; mother, Virginia Smith; brothers, Julian Lawrence Jr., Richard Lawrence, and Skyler Lawrence; sister, Julia Lawrence; his nephews and nieces that he loved and cared for, Terrance, Troy, Airin, Jordan, Sadie, and Juliana. Austin is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Austin is predeceased by his grandfather, James Franklyn Smith; grandmother, Laureen Lawrence; grandfather, James Lawrence Sr.; great-grandparents, Arthur and Ann Humphries; and great-grandparents, Isadore and Jackie Tom.

Rest in peace, Austin. You will be remembered always.
