Obituary
Armando Ortiz, age 74, passed away May 8th, 2021. He was born in Mexico and moved to the United States when he was very young. His family eventually settled in Lynden, WA.
Armando was an active musician in Whatcom County. He was a fantastic drummer and singer who could be seen behind his drum set in many bands. Music is what eventually brought him to meet his wife, Melody.
He is survived by his daughters, Shelby and R-Manda Ortiz, and his son, Chris. He is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial for Armando will be held on May 23rd, 2021 at Northwest Baptist Church in Bellingham, WA at 2PM.
