Obituary

Arlene Rae McGee was called home by her Lord and Savior June 16, 2022 in Bellingham, WA. Arlene was born February 22, 1947 to Mary and Ray McGee in Everett, Washington.
Arlene lived most of her life in Washington state, with a few years in Texas. Arlene graduated from the University of Washington with her BA and she did post-graduate work at Penn State and was offered an opportunity to study at MIT. Arlene had an encyclopedic knowledge of music, just one of her many passions. She loved to discuss politics and current events. She loved old black and white movies, collecting antiques, and studying her Bible. Arlene loved to do genealogy research and was a stickler for details to ensure her family tree was true and accurate.
Arlene is survived by her daughter Robyn. She is also survived by her sisters Maxine Stremler, Sharon Suttle and Linda Wilson. She also leaves behind to mourn her passing many nieces and nephews and an extended family in Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers Ray and Roy, brother Ed Hanks, and sisters Bonnie Gardipee and Donna Alston.
There will be a funeral service held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11am at Moles Farewell Tributes- Ferndale.
