Obituary
Angela Marie Solomon Martin, age 64, of Bellingham, passed away on May 30, 2020. Angela was born on November 28, 1955 in Bellingham, Washington to Henry and Alice Solomon. A woman her spent her whole life caring for and protecting others; first as an at home caregiver and when she retired as an environmental, indigenous, and human rights activist. She never failed to show her love for her friends, family, and community. We have never met anyone with a more loving heart than her, and she will always be our warrior, caregiver, protector, and a perpetual light in our lives. On her behalf we ask every one of our friends to continue standing up for what is right and showing compassion to others as she always has. We love you so much; your legacy will live on in the changes you’ve helped fight for and the hearts you’ve touched. Angela is survived by her daughter Rosa Solomon; son Gordon Martin; granddaughter Fern Beach; brother Edward Jones and sister Diane Dixon. There will be an immediate family viewing at Moles Farewell Tributes on Wednesday, June 3.

I am so sorry to see that our sister journeyed during a time that we were all in shut down. We will miss her deeply. Our hearts and prayers are with each and every member of her family and all her friends, those who loved her.
She was with us at all the rallies and you knew she was one who would put her life on the line for what she believed in. A truer warrior would be hard to find. Toske Ake, Angela. Journey well.

I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know my dear cousin in the last few years, and I will miss her tremendously. She had a big heart and loved her children to no end. We shall meet again Angie. Have a safe journey crossing over. Family is awaiting your arrival…hoyte.
