Obituary
I can’t believe I am writing an obituary for my mother. She was quite a Woman who lived for her family, and nothing made her happier than having three children and five grandchildren. She did everything for them, worked and loved and supported. She loved coming home from work and being with her family! She had three solid relationships with Men who loved her, and she was Married for almost 30 years of her life, so having a strong partner was a must. And she was blessed that way. But the thing that made mom unique, was her charisma. She had a horde of friends that looked up to her and we always had an open supportive house that some of my friends were fortunate enough to call home occasionally.
She came from nothing but raised her children as true independent spirits, unafraid of new things and always pitching in. We were a team and I thank my mother, for showing me how to make one. It was my strong suit in the Army: to fabricate family out of thin air.
One other note for my mom…my little sister, your only daughter, is quite the woman. But I know you already knew that! Also, from the grandkids: You will always be remembered for the hugs and candy! They loved you dearly and are going to miss that warmth of your smile and catering to their sweet tooth and from me, you were the best Mom a guy could have! Thanks for always being there and having my back!!

She was a wonderful person whom I had the pleasure of knowing by way of a friendship with her husband. We all had some very good times together. Even though we hadn’t all stayed in touch she will be missed.
