Andy Ray Todahl
Andy Ray Todahl, 60, of Laurel, WA, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2013 at Whatcom Hospice House after a being diagnosed with ALS one month ago.
Andy was born in Bellingham, WA on January 24, 1953. He was a 1971 graduate from Bellingham High School. He worked at Intalco for 38 years.
His true passion was fishing, but he also treasured his family and was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandpa. Anyone that ever knew him will always remember his Todahl Giggle. After his diagnoses he remained so positive and continued to make us laugh till the end.
Andy is survived by his loving wife Valerie of 39 years, children: Melisa (Chris) Draper, Justin (Reginna) Todahl and two grandchildren: Austin and Makenna, parents: Marlyn and Mary Todahl, relatives: Jim (Teddie) Todahl, Sherrie (Ken) Shockey, Debbie (Steve) Paxton, MaryLou (Allen) Stamm, Marc (Sandi) Johnson, Melodie (Mike) Young and numerous family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at Moles Farewell Tributes 2039 Main St. Ferndale on April 27, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ALS Association, 19115 68th Ave. S., Suite H-105, Kent, WA 98032-2110, Whatcom Hospice, 2901 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham, WA 98225, Hospice House, 2800 Douglas Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225

I had the pleasure of working with Andy for several years at Intalco. He always brightened the room everytime he entered. And when Andy and Steve got together at work – well it just wasn’t the same. Always cheerful, always smiling, and great to be around. I will miss him alot. I’m truly sorry for your loss and my prayers are with your family.
