Alta Georgia Phair, age 75, of Bellingham, WA and the Lummi Nation, passed away on Wednesday December 31, 2014.
Prayer and Rosary service will be held on Friday January 2, 2015 at 6pm.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015 at 10am. Both services at the Wexliem Community Building.

Dearest family,Sorry to hear of our recent loss of Alta,
I’ve known Alta all my life, back to Marietta,
I’ve worked side by side with her for the Lummi weavers, and got quite close to her through many years of working together. As well as Verla. Lots of fun laughter and tears together.
I used to admire her weaving, the white wides on her loom. Beautiful work, no one could compare to her work.
She was one of two people other than family that called me , “William”. I always knew who was behind me when she said, ” Hello, William.”
I will surely miss her. Sending Ne-skli’-sxw, ne-scha le cha ( Love you, My Relatives )
