What an amazing, strong Woman Alma was. So kind hearted and always ready and willing to help anyone who came to her. I will always remember her smile and how she was always in good spirits and the love that she had for her family and friends. This is so hard to even begin to comprehend that she is no longer with us. Alma touched so many lives and made such a difference in so many people’s lives. May Alma’s family find the strength and peace to get through this difficult time. Alma may be gone but she definitely will not be forgotten. I consider myself very blessed to have gotten to know Alma over the last 15 years and will always be able to hear her say “Love you” when I think about her. When I look up in the sky and see an eagle flying I will be thinking of you Alma. Soar high and be free and I look forward to our paths crossing again someday. Thank you for your love and friendship and for opening your heart and for introducing me to all of your family. I’ll be keeping you all in my prayers and love you all very much.

  2. Alma will be truly be missed. My mother thought of her as her best friend. The many road trips they took together, for fun and so my mom could visit her family. I spent the entire winter with her when she was new. Alma Kevin and Melanie brought so much joy during their first year. They were so much fun. I know that the world was a better place because of her. I know that she is in heaven. She is with her parents, her siblings, and my mom and dad. Thanks for sharing her with my family. Alma’s family and friends are in my prayers. May you treasure the good memories. I know she loved all of you, Russell, Johanna, Robert, Steven and her siblings… she brought joy to others and I know that is what God sees too, she had true joy and happiness and she brought joy and happiness to so many people. She’s an inspiration. She’s watching over you all. She’s just a prayer away. I wish you peace. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Our dear Alma was loved by all who knew her. She was a mentor to me, a beloved elder, a close friend as well as a co-worker when I was at NWIC. I remember our many lunchtime walks, the months when we shared an office, her ready smile whenever she greeted anyone. Her advocacy for students was legendary and she helped countless students find their inspiration and energy when they were struggling to continue. We may never know an exact number of how any lives she touched, but I’m sure it easily numbers in the hundreds. An inspiration to me and others, her memory will live on in our hearts. Until we meet again, my dear friend, I will keep you in my heart.
