Obituary

Alfonso Felix Sr., age 64, of Bellingham, passed away on June 2, 2019. He was born on July 26, 1954, in Toppenish, WA to Ysmael and Janie Felix.  He received his welding degree from Bellingham Vocational School. Alfonso jobs included fisherman, mechanic and shipyard welder. His favorite actiities included fishing in the river, dancing to oldies, going to the casino, hangin out with grandkids and great-grandkids, eating Skippers Clam Chowder and he enjoyed the outdoors. He was hardworking, friendly, silly, free spirited, who had a big heart. His friends and family will remember him for the way he was always smiling and cracking jokes, his shelves of nick-knacks, his loving hugs, and the way he always called his loved ones mija or mijo. Alfonso is survived by his sons Johnny Felix and Alfonso Felix Jr.; mother Janie Felix; sister Yolanda Felix; brothers Daniel, Gilbert, Tomas and Albert Felix; grandsons Darius Feliciano, Beau, Anthony, and Tomas Felix; granddaughters Karly, Kaitly, Mandna, Eileen, and Carmyn Felix; great-grandchildren Serenity Feliciano, Darius Feliciano Jr., Kaiden Felix and Killian Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Ysmael Felix Sr; wife Melvina Tom; brothers David Felix, Johnny Felix, Ysmael Felix Jr; nephews Joseph Felix and Adam Inman; niece Sonia Felix,; son Pico; and ex-wife Judy. A prayer service will be held Wednesday, June 5, at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 6, at 10:00am. Both services will be held at the Wexliem Community Building.
