Obituary
Alan Thompson Bailey passed away at his home on March 23, 2022. Alan was born in Bellingham on October 8, 1984, to Tim and Marilyn Bailey.
He was a 2003 graduate of Ferndale High School. He attended Whatcom Community College and worked for Anderson Paper Company. He later went to work for Alcoa Intalco Works and spent 14 years working in the Casthouse, Potlines, and as a Gradall operator in Reline.
“Big Al” possessed a great sense of humor and had a great smile and laugh. He was known as an extremely kind and generous friend. Alan was a wonderful son and brother and he will be forever missed by us all.
He was preceded in death by his father Tim Bailey, grandparents Don and Elizabeth Bailey, Clarence and Hilma Thompson, and by sister Jodi Larson.
He is survived by parents Marilyn and Jim Larson, brothers John (Crystal) Bailey, Matt (Alicia) Bailey, Joe Bailey, Clay (Heather) Larson, sisters Jenn (Terry) McNatt, Tamara (Mike) Joyner, several nephews and nieces, and numerous other much loved family members.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, at 12:00pm at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Dr, Ferndale, with reception to follow.
