Obituary
Alan Glenn Kapp passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024. He was born in Bellingham, WA on May 19,1953 to Henry and Ruth Kapp.
As a lifelong fisherman starting in high school, Al owned and operated boats from California to Alaska in numerous different fisheries. In addition, he also had other businesses and interests over the years: exporting various goods and packaging materials to Russia, sourcing and selling luxury cars, and renovating and selling houses were just a few of the other things he pursued. He loved to travel and developed an interest in photography to document his numerous trips and adventures. Along the way he made a lot of friends and touched a lot of lives. Quite often, if someone found out your last name was Kapp, they would ask if you were related to Al.
Al had a unique and wonderful way about him. If you were lucky enough to meet him, even once, he was a personality you would never forget.
Al was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by brothers Duane, Darrell, and Loren, numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime friend Svetlana Ponomorova.
