Obituary

Aaron Bradley Cooper was born on July 27, 1974 in Bellingham, Washington to Daniel Cooper Jr. and Velma (Point) Cooper. He was a member of the Nooksack Indian Tribe. Aaron attended Chemawa Indian School and later graduated from Mt. Baker High School. Aaron worked as a medical biller for The Nooksack Indian Tribe and also for Option Care. He met his mate Michelle Johnson as a young child and later had four beautiful daughters. His heart swelled with love for his children and even more so when his grandchildren came into the picture.

He liked to play board games and had an awesome sense of humor. He also had a knack for interior design and was a master crafter. He had a generous way and would give the shirt off of his back even when he had little or nothing left for himself.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents: Alice and Jimmy Charlie; Daniel and Doreen Cooper Parents: Daniel and Velma Cooper; Sister: Lydia Cooper.

Aaron is survived by his mate Michelle Johnson; daughters Leawna Johnson, Danielle Cooper, Valarie Cooper, and Genessee Cooper; siblings Tamara (Steve) Woodrich, Charmaine (Mark) Jimmie, Jason (Genna Joseph) Cooper, Mark Cooper; Grandchildren; Nyya Johnson and Ella Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a prayer service held on Sunday, January 9,2022 at 6PM and a funeral service held on Monday, January 10,2022 at 10AM. Both services will be held at the Nooksack Community Building.
